Ladies Grab Gold at Ashford 10K
The Tunbridge Wells Harriers Ladies team won gold medals in The Kent Championships on Sunday 12th October. The Givaudan Ashford 10K road race saw Tara Taylor come in 94th place, first TWH lady in a time of 40:30. Jeannette White was next in for the team in 41:19 coming 115th. Jane Johnstone was 3rd TWH lady in 183rd place in 43:30. This trio secured a very well deserved 1st place as first ladies team home. The ladies were:

Amongst the men, there were four personal bests recorded: Nick Leech was first TW Harrier home in 17th place in a time of 35:50, and Terry Everest came home for the club in 37th with a time of 37:24. Matthew Clark recorded his first 10k time below 40 mins, coming 81st in a time of 39:57, and Graham Dwyer, in 101st place, surprised himself by beating his previous best 10k time by 3 minutes with 40:48.
The Tunbridge Wells Harriers men's team are still holding onto 1st position in the Kent Grand Prix with one event to go: the Deal 5 mile road race on Sunday 2nd November. The men's results in full are as follows:
