Congratulations to Ian Kerwin for winning on his debut, and well done to Chris Wolton for posting the fastest time on the evening with an excellent 37:38.
This month, the spot prize of a £10 Running Hub voucher was won by Peter Richardson who crossed the line in 34th place, the placing having been picked out of the hat before the race finished. You will notice that Peter is instead shown in 36th place in the results, this being due to a number of adjustments having been made to the final results due to several late starts.
One particular late start resulted in an excellent performance going unnoticed on the evening: Jon Rickards stormed to second place on handicap on removal of 4 minutes of tardiness from his time.
I hope that I've captured all of the recording problems at the start and finish, but let me know if you have any amendments to make to the results.
Thanks very much to all of the volunteers and marshals that helped out on the evening, and once again apologies for the mild shambles at the start area, but the continuing huge turnouts are proving difficult to control - we're a victim of our own success! I'm sure we'll have the problems ironed out by the August event, but try to help us by sorting out a handicap with David French in advance and keeping an eye out for your start time.
