The Thanet coastline was awash with deckchairs today. In cold, windy but sunny conditions 17 Harriers braved the conditions. Unfortunately only 16 finished as one of our newer members, Wendy Bennett suffered a knee injury at 14 miles, and, wisely, decided to retire a mile later.

The men's team of Nick, Craig and Matt won the team prize, and Nick, Matt and Mike won the gold medals in the Kent Champs team. (Craig does not appear to have been in the Kent Champs).
The Thanet 20 Mile Road Race is the second race in the Kent Grand Prix series.
It is also the Kent Championships 20 mile race.
