Thanet 20 (Kent Champs and Kent Grand Prix)

Well done to everyone who took part in the Thanet 20 yesterday. 13 Harriers completed the new course, which started and finished on West Cliff in Ramsgate. The conditions were near perfect, if a little cool at the start, with very little wind and even an occasional glimpse of sunshine. The new route twists round Ramsgate and Broadstairs, plus gets part of the way to Margate before turning back. We also went past a field of cabbages for those of you who remember the old 2 lap of Manston Airport course.

The Men's team of Nick, Matt and Mike took silver in the Kent Champs, and were 3rd team overall. Our top 6 men finishers all scored in the Kent Grand Prix individual event, and all of our women finishers scored in the women's event. Full Kent Grand Prix standings after 3 races not yet available.

I'll have the team medals and trophies with me on Wednesday.
