Congratulations to Simon Ward who was first back in the race.
The fastest time on the evening was comeback-king Dave Hadaway with 39:14, proving there is hope after injury - well done Dave on doing so well after your recovery.
This month's spot prize of a £10 Running Hub voucher went to Derek Harrison in 41st place. We'll be repeating this spot prize for the rest of the series, picking a placing out of the hat before the race finishes.
The next handicap 10K is on 13th July. The best handicap results over at least three races decide the series winner. Try to help us by sorting out a handicap time, if you don't already have one, with David French in advance, and keeping an eye out for your start time. The system worked better this time as we learned from the last race with the larger numbers we are now getting. Thanks to all the marshalls and volunteers, and David who oversees the race, who give up their time to make it run smoothly.
