Kent Men's and Women's Cross Country Leagues, Event 1, Capstone Park

Race date:
1 October 2009

Twenty three Harriers made the trip to the first meeting of the Kent Cross Country League at Capstone Park, Chatham on Saturday 3rd October. After little rain in the preceding month, the course at the top of the North Downs was baked hard, and many runners opted to run in road shoes. Although conditions were bright and warm, the near gale force winds whipped up clouds of dust and made the going hard in places.
