Thursday evening bike turbo training

What a great response I've had to the bike turbo training session.
 
I can confirm that the High Brooms TOC has been booked for 6 months starting Thursday 6th of October from 8-9pm with 15-20mins either side.  Please arrive 15 minutes early if possible to set-up your bike and help others. The first 15 minutes of each session will be a warm-up and the cost will be £2. 
 
I will bring some disclaimer forms to each session for first timer mitigating any liability so make sure you’re fit and well, or drop by you GP as you may well find yourself getting quite worked up.

During the first few sessions we’ll be looking to ensure you know your heart rate zones if you have a heart rate monitor or understand the RPE scale (Rate of Perceived Exertion).
 
What to bring on the night:

  • Bike
  • Cycle clothing (shorts, technical t-shirt or swim suit and socks [tops must be worn])
  • Turbo trainer and front mount device
  • Heart Rate Monitor and Watch (if you have one)
  • Hydration
  • Towel and / or bandana (to dry off your sweat, and may be the floor!)
  • Trainers (for a quick jog off the bike afterwards)
  • Light snack for after the session
  • £2 ( for room hire)
  • A sense of humour and lots of energy
