The Hildenborough 10 held on Bank Holiday Monday, 4th May was won by Harrier Nick Leech in an excellent time of 56:41. Trevor Taylor (68:57) finished as third man overall, Siân Roberts (78:04) was third woman overall, Ana Green (81:44) won the women's veteran prize, and Ian Wylie (70:02) was second in the men's vet category. Other club members competing were John Lee (79:50), Graham Penn (80:22) and Graham Books (1:52:44).
Meanwhile, in the 5 mile race which covered one lap of the same course, George Harris (35:00) finished in second place, only 13 secs behind the winner Keith Duke. Amanda Paver (37:37) finished in ninth place overall, and fourth woman. Other Harriers competing were Sue Barrett (46:06), Bryon 'Spud' Taylor (52:42) and Ann Taylor (69:12).
