Tara is currently leading with an age-related percentage of 77.6% for her time of 1:07:16. Essentially, this means that she ran at 77.6% of the speed of someone running at 10 mile world record pace for her age (this would be 52:13!!). To put the scores into context, 100% is obviously world record level, 90% is considered world class, 80% national class, 70% regional class and 60% good club runner.
The competition is very close, with less than 3% covering the first three of Tara, Mike and Derek.
Congratulations to everyone that took part for some fine performances and an excellent turn-out for the club — third place overall for the ladies is a superb start. Thanks for this should in part go to JJ for conceiving the idea of the Club GP, which definitely contributed to the turn-out.
