The 5 mile Penshurst Cross Country run will be held on Sunday 4th January 2009 at 11.30am starting from the Village Hall. The first race was held in 1908, so in spite of the event only having been restarted in 2000 as a part of the village millenium celebrations it's now 101 years old.

The Wilmington 10K is part of the Kent Grand Prix series.

The Folkestone Half Marathon is a Kent Champs event and part of the Kent Grand Prix series.
